View the Fresh, New Look of Camp Onanda

While it was a sad thing to see the YWCA sell Camp Onanda, it must be said that the Town of Canandaigua has truly kept Onanda special. Under the watchful and caring eye of Dennis Brewer, cabins have been moved, some have lovely porches, some simply rebuilt and picnic shelters added. Yet even with these changes, Onanda has that same feel and look about her. While folks can rent cabins and enjoy the feel of camp they know nothing of meals together, young girls giggling, bug juice, campfires, pranks, and all those rare and wonderful adventures that so many girls have fondly tucked away in their memories.
