Entertaining Staff Shows for Our Campers

On the very last night of each camp session, the counselors put on a staff show. Crouch Hall was packed to overflowing with campers and staff. Abode was a rush of activity with staff preparing for their skits or songs.

After an entirely fun show, a wish boat ceremony took place on the beach. Each camper had prepared a wish boat (a plate with their written wish and candle attached). Once the candle was lit, the camper put their wish boat into the water. It was such a sight and an emotional end to their summer stay at camp.

Don't know that the campers were all aware, but a few counselors would be in the water quietly gathering the plates once the candles went out. Yes, we were also environmentally aware.
